She began her healthcare career in pharmacy before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in Round Rock, Texas, and later her Master of Science in Nursing from United States University in San Diego, California. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, specializing in neuroscience and spine care.
