Gwen Wodiuk completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Phoenix in 2005. During her time at the University of Phoenix, she had experience as both a nurse and working in a catheter lab. Gwen is an American Association of Nurse Practitioners board certified FNP. Her extensive nursing background includes adult medical, surgical, cardiac, and pediatric hospital experience. She also worked in an office helping to provide care to internal medicine and cardiac patients. Her ubiquitous knowledge of internal and family medicine has taught her to be a well-rounded and kindhearted nurse who strives to help achieve optimal health for all her patients.
Gwen’s appreciation for proactive health came from her experience in a hospital where she quickly realized how many health conditions could be improved by illness prevention and proactive healthcare. Because of that she is motivated to help discuss how to improve health for the present and how your current health statis can impact future and long-term health. She believes that the key to health is an honest, trustworthy, and dedicated partnership between patient and health practitioner.
