Drug Screening On-site

Healthcare Solutions offers an easy, affordable on-site solution for pre-employment and post-accident drug screenings. There are many varieties of urine drug screening tests available from our suppliers; however, the test that HCS most frequently utilizes is the I-Cup DX 12 Panel. The I-Cup DX 12 Panel screens for amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana, methadone, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, PCP, propoxyphene and tri-cyclic antidepressants. Separate tests also may be purchased to detect the presence of alcohol in saliva. Pricing of the test is dependent upon the current price from our supplier as well as the quantity purchased. A quote can be supplied upon request using current market prices for the desired quantity.

Training will be provided to any employee selected to perform drug screenings outside of clinic hours.

How Long Can Drugs be Detected in Urine?

Each drug is cleared by the body at different rates. When you are able to detect drugs in the urine depends on the drug taken, how often the person takes the drug, and how the drug was taken.

Test Limitations

  1. Drug Screen Cups are not reusable, and test instructions must be followed precisely.
  2. The drug test shows the drug either was or was not present at the cutoff level.
  3. Certain over-the-counter or prescription drugs may cross-react with the drug screen cup and cause a preliminary positive result for certain drugs. A list of the most common drug interactions can be provided upon request. We highly recommend having employees list any current medications or over-the-counter drugs they may have taken in the past 2 months on the drug test consent form as well as bring in their prescription containers.
  4. The test will only give accurate results on urine samples. Bleach, cleaning supplies and other liquids may dilute the urine and the test may not be accurate.
  5. Once the test starts, read the results after 5 minutes.
  6. Drinking large amounts of liquids may dilute the urine so that the drug (if present) cannot be detected.
  7. If the test container is cold, you must bring them to room temperature before you begin.
  8. Failure to use the drug screen cup as directed may result in an inaccurate screening result.
